Jai’s journey in hospitality started with the Luxury Hotel Chain, The Leela Palace,
Hotels and Resorts. In a career spanning more than a decade and a half with
them, he was instrumental in driving domestic and overseas business for the
group. As the Head of Leisure for the chain, he was closely involved with the
launch and overall revenues of some of Leela’s marquee assets like The Leela Goa,
The Leela Kovalam, The Leela Palace Udaipur, The Leela Palace New Delhi, and
The Leela Palace Chennai.

Jai’s expertise and passion into the intricacies of leisure hospitality and life style real estate helped him in co-founding Rosetta by Ferns. Currently, he manages
the role of the Joint Managing Director and CEO of the Luxury Hospitality and
Time Share chain.

In this role, Jai oversees the daily operations of the company which includes
design, projects, finance, operations, and most critically, the strategy and
operation of Club Rosetta, a one-of-a-kind premium holiday vacation club which
he is personally most passionate about.

Jai holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration along with postgraduate
qualifications in Hospitality Management from Cornell University, New York, as
well as an Honour’s diploma from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel
& Lodging Association.

In his spare time, Jai dons his academia hat sharing his understanding of
supply-demand economics to post graduate students across the country,
enjoying a good book, travelling to identify leisure hospitality opportunities,
reading up on the newest economic theory or just blissfully enjoying classical
Carnatic music.
