Luxury hospitality, straight from the heart

Green Initiatives
Unparalleled luxury blending with nature

Ecological design
From the choice of eco-friendly rooftop tiles which keep the resort cooler in summer and warmer in winter to ensuring minimized carpet miles in procurement of construction material, we have thoughtfully, and scientifically, minimized the impacts of construction and design.

Mindful operations
Occupancy sensors in guest rooms automatically decrease energy consumption when guests are not in their rooms.

Our focus on organic
Fruits, vegetables, and meats for the restaurant are supplied by local organic purveyors. All fresh fruits, vegetables, edible flowers and herbs growing in our organic farm are used for meals in our restaurants, for drinks at the bars, and for Spa treatments. Even bath products are completely organic.

Soil-less farming
We take a soil-less approach to our organic farms. Reliable, predictable and repeatable hydroponic farming grows plants using nutrients and water, without soil. The produce is superior in taste, quality, texture and nutritional value.

Recycling and waste reduction
With our recycling and composting program, the goal is to divert upwards of 50% of the waste from going to the landfill. All plants and trees are managed organically; vegetable food waste is composted and reused as organic compost for maintaining landscaped areas.

Water conservation
Indoors, bathroom fixtures with low water flow have been installed, along with dual flush toilets and waterless urinals. Our hydroponic systems use as much as 10 times less water than traditional field crop watering methods.

Menu selection
Luxury in food is in using locale-inspired, fresh and seasonal produce. Our thoughtfully crafted menus integrate organic produce and other natural products that offer guests healthier food selections.

Bee sustainable
Our commitment to environmental stewardship includes a bee-focused initiative that aids habitat protection, pollination of gardens and flowers, and helps to support honey bee health.

Becoming carbon-negative
With 15,000 trees across the verdant coffee plantation, Rosetta by Ferns – Sakleshpur is set to aid the sequestering of 375 tonnes of carbon dioxide every year. Our goal is to go beyond a carbon-neutral resort to become a negative-carbon resort.
